Is It Too Late to Buy XRP Explained

Ripple didn’t land 1,700 NDAs by accident. That’s not a number that happens unless a company is deep in serious conversations with governments, major financial institutions, payment networks, universities, and Fortune 500 companies.

What NDAs Actually Signal

Most people don’t see the work happening behind an NDA, which is the point of an NDA. But the sheer count tells you something: Ripple has been building real infrastructure for XRP adoption in the background for years, not just responding to headlines. That’s a different kind of signal than a press release, because you don’t sign 1,700 confidentiality agreements to generate hype.

The Derivatives Market Angle

One example worth understanding is the size of the derivatives market, which runs into the hundreds of trillions of dollars globally. If even a small fraction of that volume ends up settling through the XRP Ledger, it would move the entire digital asset space, and XRP sits directly in the middle of that infrastructure conversation. That’s not a promise it happens, it’s a scale comparison worth understanding before dismissing the asset as fully priced.

Where I Land on It

I think XRP still looks undervalued relative to the scale of what Ripple is building toward, particularly if the XRP Ledger captures even a modest share of the derivatives market or the other asset classes being brought on-chain. That’s my read of the setup, not a guarantee of where price goes next, and you should treat any opinion like that, mine included, as one input into your own research rather than a reason to act.

What to Actually Verify

Before deciding whether it’s too late, check Ripple’s own public disclosures, look at what’s actually live on the XRP Ledger versus what’s still in pilot phase, and size any position against your broader financial plan rather than against a single number like 1,700. Talk with a qualified financial professional before making decisions based on any of this.
