Range, Peersyst & XRPL EVM Sidechain: Tokenization

Range and Peersyst announced a partnership bringing cross-chain intelligence and monitoring tooling to the XRPL EVM Sidechain, which Ripple has confirmed is live on mainnet. That combination, a functioning EVM-compatible chain plus dedicated monitoring infrastructure, is a more concrete signal than either piece alone.

Why the EVM Sidechain Exists

The XRP Ledger was not built as an EVM-compatible chain, which means Ethereum-native developers and their existing Solidity contracts could not deploy directly onto it. The XRPL EVM Sidechain solves that by running an EVM-compatible environment connected to XRPL, letting developers bring existing Ethereum tooling and contracts into the XRPL ecosystem rather than rewriting everything from scratch. That is the practical case for why this matters for adoption: it lowers the switching cost for an entire existing developer base.

What Range and Peersyst Actually Add

A live chain is not useful to institutional users without visibility into what is happening on it. Range’s monitoring and cross-chain intelligence tooling, paired with Peersyst’s involvement, gives builders and security teams a way to track activity and flag anomalies on the sidechain, the kind of operational tooling that has to exist before institutions treat a chain as production-ready rather than experimental.

Keep the Timeline Straight

Since the XRPL EVM Sidechain is confirmed live on mainnet, current discussion of it should be in present tense, an operating chain with real activity, not a future launch still being anticipated. That distinction matters for accuracy: content written before mainnet went live can read very differently now that it is an operational network.

Read the Announcements Directly

The Range/Peersyst announcement covers the monitoring partnership specifically, Ripple’s mainnet launch article confirms the chain is live, and the XRPL EVM site has the technical documentation for developers building on it.
